Number Forge Privacy Policy

Effective from the first Google Play release (version 1.0.0 and later). Applies to the Number Forge app for Android.

Who we are

Number Forge is a TIVEXA game, developed and published by 2852483 Alberta Inc., Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email admin.tivexa@protonmail.com.

Summary

We do not collect personal information. Number Forge has no account or sign-in, no analytics of its own, no in-app purchases, and we operate no server for it. Your game progress stays on your device.

Number Forge is free and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner ad, an occasional interstitial ad between stretches of play, and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch for a second chance. Google's software collects some data when ads are requested and shown (see Ads). You can turn ads off from the app's "Ads and privacy choices" screen where your region offers it; the game plays the same with ads off. Number Forge has no hints for sale; rewarded ads are always optional and Restart is always available.

Information stored on your device

To remember your progress, Number Forge stores the following in its own private storage on your device:

This is kept in the app's private storage (its web storage and a private Android settings file), which other apps cannot read. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. "Reset progress" in the Menu erases the game save; uninstalling or clearing the app's storage (Settings > Apps > Number Forge > Storage > Clear storage) also removes it.

What we do not collect

We do not collect or access your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos or files, camera or microphone. Number Forge contains no analytics or tracking software of its own. The only third-party software that can collect data is Google's advertising and consent software described below.

Ads

Which ads. A banner below the board, separated from the game controls, and an occasional full-screen interstitial ad that appears only after about three minutes of active play, with a 10-second on-screen warning first; the board is paused while it shows and play resumes exactly where you left off. There is also one optional rewarded ad: when a level ends in game over, you may choose to watch a short video ad to undo your last swipe ("Second chance"), once per level. It is never required - Restart is always shown next to it - and declining has no penalty. There are no hints for sale and no in-app purchases.

Who. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited, depending on your region). When an ad is requested and shown, Google's software collects and shares, for advertising, measurement (analytics) and fraud prevention:

Google's software encrypts this data in transit. How Google uses it is explained in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy; the SDK's data practices are listed at Google's AdMob data disclosure. Depending on the consent choices you make, Google and its advertising partners may show you personalized or non-personalized ads. We set Google's ad content limit to a teen rating, because Number Forge is meant for players aged 13 and over.

Consent and your choices. Number Forge uses Google's consent software (the User Messaging Platform). When ads are on, the app asks Google at start-up whether consent is needed in your region; this request goes to Google. Where the law requires your consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and some US states), Google's consent form is shown before any ad is requested. You can change your choices at any time from "Ads and privacy choices" in the app, where your region requires it, and you can turn the banner off entirely there. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Turning ads off stops new ad requests but does not delete data Google already received.

What we receive. We do not receive your advertising ID or other identifiers from these ads. We receive aggregated reports from Google about ad performance (for example how many ads were shown and the resulting earnings); they do not identify you.

Permissions and internet

Number Forge's own game code does not send or receive data over the internet, and the game plays fully offline. The app includes Android's Internet and network-state permissions, which Google's advertising software requires, and the vibration permission for optional haptic feedback. These do not give access to your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or precise location. The game's web view loads only files bundled inside the app.

Android backup

Number Forge opts out of Android app backup, so your progress is not included in device backups and does not transfer to a new device.

Google Play

Number Forge is distributed through Google Play. When you download or update it, Google processes information such as your Google account and device details under the Google Privacy Policy; this is Google's processing, not ours. If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google may give us crash and performance statistics in the Google Play Console. We use them only to find and fix problems, and they do not include your name or contact details.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you report. We do not sell it or share it with anyone, apart from our email provider, which stores our mailbox. We keep support emails only as long as needed to handle your request, and you can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Children

Number Forge is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Security

Your progress never leaves your device through the game itself. It is protected by Android's app sandbox, which keeps it private to Number Forge. Data collected by Google's advertising software is handled by Google as described above.
